Zamian Essex
Professional Land Surveyor
Zamian Essex was born and raised in Forsyth, Montana. He is a proud veteran of the United States Military. Zamian began his surveying career in 2005. He holds a BS degree (2009), with honors, from Montana State University Billings in mathematics. Zamian has 19 years of experience providing land surveying services in boundary, construction, route, engineering design, mine quality control and GPS surveys from Wyoming to Alaska.
Tim Grant
Professional Land Surveyor
Tim Grant was born and raised in Findlay Ohio. After graduating high school Tim then moved to Cody Wyoming and began working for a local engineering firm hand drafting plans and assisting the survey crew as a survey tech. From there, Tim moved and began working for the City of Billings as a construction inspector. Due to that experience, Tim was quickly recruited to assist the survey crew. Tim has more than 40 years of experience providing land surveying services in boundary, construction, route, engineering design and GPS surveys from Wyoming to Montana.
Isaiah Robins
Field Survey Technician
Isaiah Robins was born in Wenatchee, a small farming community located in central Washington. Seeking better opportunities, Isaiah’s family moved to Billings Montana in the mid-90s. In 2005 Isaiah began working for a local civil engineering company as a survey technician. From there, Isaiah became an industrial pipe fitter working in nearly every state. After many years working on the road and with a natural aptitude in boundary surveying, Isaiah restarted his path to becoming a Professional Land surveyor at Essex Surveying. Isaiah has more than 6 years of experience providing land surveying services in boundary, construction, route, engineering design and GPS surveys from Wyoming to Montana
Amber Essex
Project Manager
Amber Essex was born and raised in Forsyth, Montana. She has worked for over 20 years in customer service with the majority in healthcare administration. After living out of state for many years, she came back home to Montana to work for Essex Surveying in 2022, to become Project Manager. During her time at Essex Surveying, she has done planning for exempt plats and minor subdivisions in Yellowstone and surrounding counties.
